Linux Training Basics (CompTIA Linux+)
Training duration: The total volume of the training is 50 academic hours, of which 40 are hours of classroom and practical work (5 days) and 10 are the completion of laboratories in the CompTIA e-environment as homework during the training period.
Target audience: The course is intended for IT professionals whose duties include Linux troubleshooting, installation, or maintenance. The course is also suitable for those who wish to obtain the CompTIA Linux+ (or LPIC-1 Linux Server Professional) title.
Prerequisites: Previously completed training ICT specialist basic course and IT specialist basic training (based on CompTIA A+) or equivalent knowledge.
Contents of this training
The course gives the participant the knowledge and skills to independently work with Linux environment installation and simpler administration and setup.
Purpose of training
The aim of the training is to give the participant the knowledge and skills to work independently with Linux environment installation and simpler management and setup. The course helps you prepare for the CompTIA certification exam.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the training, the participant:
- understand basic Linux principles and perform basic Linux tasks;
- manage user and group accounts;
- manage disk partitions and Linux file systems;
- manage different files;
- organize access in the Linux file system and determine the owner of files/folders;
- to print;
- manage software packages and kernel;
- work on the command line (Bash);
- manage Linux processes and background jobs;
- manage system services;
- configure Linux network connections, basic Internet services, and graphical user interface (GUI);
- implement Linux security principles;
- manage hardware;
- troubleshoot Linux;
- install Linux.
Conditions for completion of training: At the end of the training, the training center issues a certificate or certificate to those who have completed the training. At the end of the training, a certificate will be issued if at least 80% of each subject of the curriculum and other requirements arising from the training program (e.g. exam, accounting, practical work, etc.) have been completed. A certificate of participation in or completion of in-service training is issued to a person if during the training the achievement of the learning outcomes was not assessed or if the person did not achieve all the learning outcomes required to complete the curriculum.

- a prepared workplace with the necessary hardware and software in the classroom. If necessary, we provide the participant in the online environment with remote access to the software required to participate in the training;

official CompTIA study materials; - a trainer who has passed the CompTIA certification exams and has work experience in the relevant field;
