Manage social media like the pros do

Creating content and ads on social media has been made a breeze – a few clicks, credit card information and you’re already spending real money to make your product or service more visible. We assure you that this is a very effective way to burn money. However, if the goal is something else – for example, increasing sales or raising brand awareness, then you can use social media opportunities more consciously and invest money where it brings the most revenue. After our social media training, you will still be several degrees smarter and know how to set up what happens on your social media in such a way that it actually benefits your organization.

Training duration:  12 academic hours (2 days) – on the 23rd of September & on the 25th of Sepember

Target audience: Anyone exposed to marketing on social media platforms. Especially for marketing specialists, service providers, small entrepreneurs and those who are responsible for marketing activities in the company on social media.

Prerequisites: Preferably having a company account and access to it on at least one social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin).

Contents of this training:

How to do effective social media marketing and measure it objectively? The training covers all steps from setting goals to measuring results. Since content is an important part of social media, special emphasis is placed on it – what kind of content works, where to get ideas for posts, where to make stylish designs and how to analyze your own and competitors’ activities. On the practical side, we’ll go through creating a post, from writing text to creating visuals (no prior copywriting experience or Photoshop skills required). Let’s take a look at the statistics of the Facebook page: we will do practical tasks ourselves and familiarize ourselves with tools such as Audience Insights, Page Insights, Ad Library. All participants will receive work techniques, foundations and tools to make their posts more strategic and interesting for users. Training is necessary for everyone who manages at least 1 profile on social media, and the same principles can be applied to your personal profile to leave a professional impression.

The trainer, Katrin Vilimaa-Otsing, is a marketer with an IT education and can therefore answer even your most technical questions. She’s seen a lot of social media activities that work and at least as many that don’t. Her knowledge and experience in digital marketing in general helps to place social media marketing in the right place in the overall marketing plan. The training group is small, which means that no one is left behind – for every question, the trainer can come to the participant’s computer and help solve problems.

Topics:

  • Setting goals and selecting appropriate KPIs
  • Target group mapping, competitor monitoring
  • The Facebook algorithm and the characteristics of a good post
  • Planning and creating posts, various tools
  • Organizing prize games in accordance with the rules, which would also be interesting for the participant
  • Cooperation with directional modifiers, how to choose them, examples, important aspects before cooperation
  • Analyzing the results of social media activities to assess what worked and what didn’t

Purpose of training:

To provide the participant with knowledge, tools and skills for better and more efficient management of company accounts in social media. When applying what has been learned, the activities in social media are in line with the company’s goals, and their achievement is much more likely thanks to conscious action and planning.

Learning outcomes:

  • Can set marketing goals and choose appropriate metrics;
