Security Testing Basic Training (CompTIA PenTest+)
Training duration: The total volume of the training is 50 academic hours, of which 40 are hours of classroom and practical work (5 days) and 10 are the completion of laboratories in the CompTIA e-environment as homework during the training period.
Target audience:
CompTIA PenTest+ is for IT cybersecurity professionals with three to four years of hands-on information security or related experience, or equivalent training, looking to start or advance a career in pen testing. CompTIA PenTest+ prepares candidates for the following job roles:
- Penetration tester
- Vulnerability tester
- Security analyst (II)
- Vulnerability assessment analyst
- Network security operations
- Application security vulnerability
Prerequisites: CompTIA PenTest+ is for intermediate-skills level proffessionals.
Contents of this training
PenTest+ is an intermediate-skills level cybersecurity certification that focuses on offensive skills through pen testing and vulnerability assessment. Cybersecurity professionals with CompTIA PenTest+ know how plan, scope, and manage weaknesses, not just exploit them. CompTIA PenTest+ is a certification for cybersecurity professionals tasked with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment and management.

Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the training, the participant:
- Plan and scope penetration tests
- Conduct passive reconnaissance
- Perform non-technical tests to gather information
- Conduct active reconnaissance
- Analyze vulnerabilities
- Penetrate networks
- Exploit host-based vulnerabilities
- Test applications
- Complete post-exploit tasks
- Analyze and report penetration test results
Conditions for completion of training: At the end of the training, the training center issues a certificate or certificate to those who have completed the training. At the end of the training, a certificate will be issued if at least 80% of each subject of the curriculum and other requirements arising from the training program (e.g. exam, accounting, practical work, etc.) have been completed. A certificate of participation in or completion of in-service training is issued to a person if during the training the achievement of the learning outcomes was not assessed or if the person did not achieve all the learning outcomes required to complete the curriculum.

- a prepared workplace with the necessary hardware and software in the classroom. If necessary, we provide the participant in the online environment with remote access to the software required to participate in the training;

official CompTIA study materials; - a trainer who has passed the CompTIA certification exams and has work experience in the relevant field;
