Training duration:  16 academic hours (2 days)

Target audience: The training is suitable for a person who wants an overview of modern IT service management based on the service value system (Service value System).

Prerequisites (preferably): There are no prerequisites for registering for the training, but a basic knowledge of the basic concepts of service management is helpful.

Content of training

ITIL® 4 is a significant development and innovation in the world of IT-based service management, addressing new practices and ways of working that companies and organizations can use in today’s digital world. This knowledge is necessary not only for IT professionals, but for the wider community, all of whom are exposed to the world of digital change.

This training is conducted by Meriroos OÜ, a branch of AXELOS Limited ATO.

Topics/Training material:

Each participant receives all materials in the form of e-books. The materials are the so-called Pro Pack from ITpreneurs. This package contains the following components:

Purpose of training:

ITIL® 4 Foundation is an introductory course to the whole world of ITIL® 4 certification courses. The aim of the course is to create an understanding of modern IT service management based on the Service Value System. A very important part of this course is the connections with other related methodologies such as Lean, Agile and DevOps.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the training, the participant:

  • knows the seven guiding principles of ITIL 4;
  • knows the service value chain (Service Value Chain);
  • knows the four dimensions of service management;
  • has familiarized himself with 34 practices of ITIL, paying particular attention to 18 practices;
  • knows the basic concepts of Lean IT, Agile, DevOps and Organizational Change Management;
  • is ready for the corresponding certification exam.

Exam and certificate:

Participants who have completed the training will be entitled to take the international certificate exam – ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

The exam consists of forty multiple-choice questions. To pass the exam and receive a certificate, you must score at least 65% of the maximum score.

Each participant receives an exam voucher valid for one year. Therefore, everyone chooses him/herself when after the training he/she is ready to take the exam. The exam is taken online directly at the PeopleCert exam center from your own computer.

  • a prepared workplace with the necessary hardware and software in the classroom. If necessary, we provide the participant in the online environment with remote access to the software required to participate in the training;
  • exam voucher;
  • study materials.
